Returns & Refunds

Last updated: 8 September 2026

We want you to be happy with your order ๐Ÿงก

The Myelopathy.org Store operates on a print-on-demand basis. We do not hold ready-made stock. Your product is produced after you place your order.

Because of this, we ask customers to check their product, size, colour and personalisation carefully before ordering.

Print-on-demand production does not affect any statutory consumer rights that apply to you.

1. Our Print-on-Demand Model

Unlike a traditional retailer, Myelopathy.org does not normally keep shelves of finished merchandise waiting to be sold.

Products are manufactured after an order has been placed and may be produced by one of our trusted fulfilment partners.

This helps us avoid unnecessary stock and waste while allowing our store to offer a wider range of products to supporters around the world.

Please check your size, colour, design and delivery address carefully before placing your order.

2. Changed Your Mind?

Most of our products are printed on demand after you place your order.

For eligible non-personalised online purchases, UK customers generally have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving their order.

Once you tell us you wish to cancel, you normally have a further 14 days to return the item.

Personalised or custom-made products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.

Please contact [email protected] before returning anything so we can provide the correct return instructions.

Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

3. Personalised & Custom Products

Different rules may apply to products that have been made specifically to your individual requirements or clearly personalised for you.

Examples may include products containing:

  • Your name or personalised wording
  • A photograph supplied by you
  • A design produced specifically to your instructions
  • Other individual customisation requested by you
Personalised or custom-made products cannot normally be returned simply because you have changed your mind.

This does not affect your rights where the product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.

4. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If something has genuinely gone wrong, please contact us and we will work with you to put it right.

Please contact us if your item:

  • Arrives damaged
  • Has a manufacturing fault
  • Has been incorrectly printed
  • Is different from the product you ordered
  • Is otherwise not as described

Please email [email protected] and include:

  • Your order number
  • A brief description of the problem
  • Clear photographs where helpful

We may need this information so that we can investigate the problem with our fulfilment partner.

Depending on the circumstances and your applicable consumer rights, the appropriate resolution may include a replacement, repair or refund.

5. Before Returning an Item

Please do not send an item back without contacting us first.

Because products may be fulfilled from different locations around the world, the correct return address may not be the address shown on the original parcel.

Contact [email protected] and we will provide the appropriate return instructions for your order.

6. Condition of Returned Items

Where a change-of-mind return right applies, customers may inspect products in the same way they reasonably could in a shop.

Returned items should therefore be kept in good condition and should not be used beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect or try them.

Where permitted by law, a refund may be reduced if the value of an item has been diminished because it has been handled more than was reasonably necessary.

7. Return Postage

For an eligible change-of-mind return, the customer may be responsible for the cost of returning the item unless we tell you otherwise.

Where an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, applicable consumer rights concerning return costs will be honoured.

Please contact us before arranging postage so that we can advise you on the appropriate return process.

8. Refunds

Where a refund is due, it will normally be returned to the original payment method.

For eligible UK cancellation returns, we will process the refund within the period required by applicable consumer law after receiving the returned goods or satisfactory evidence that they have been returned.

Once we issue a refund, the time taken for the money to appear in your account may depend on your bank, card provider or payment service.

9. Original Delivery Charges

Where UK statutory cancellation rights apply, the original standard delivery charge will be refunded where required by law.

If you selected a more expensive delivery option, such as express shipping, we are not normally required to refund the additional amount above the cost of standard delivery.

10. International Customers

We ship worldwide and customers outside the United Kingdom may have additional or different mandatory consumer rights under the laws of their country.

Nothing in this Returns & Refunds Policy is intended to remove any mandatory consumer protection that applies to you.

Please contact us if you are unsure about the return process for your country.

11. Sale & Discounted Products

Buying an item in a sale or using a discount code does not remove statutory consumer rights.

The same rights concerning faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods apply regardless of whether a product was purchased at full price or at a discounted price.
